India is an amazing country. Most of the time there I was confused. The religions, way of life, traffic, monuments, nature, everything was new and interesting. I spent almost 3 weeks in India but it was a too short time to really know that country. It was hot on the plains but nice cool at higher altitudes where I saw the Himalayans. One thing was a disapppointment: I couldn't ride to Nepal as I had planned because the officials closed the border just when I was some 30 km away from that. There were riots at the border and the Indian fuel trucks did not drive to Nepal causing a shortage of fuel there.
